Become a Horse Sponsor

Horses are at the center of everything we do at Albany Therapeutic Riding Center.

By choosing to “adopt” a horse, you are directly supporting the care and well-being of one of our most important partners. Your donation helps ensure each horse receives the attention, nourishment, and medical care they need to safely and successfully support our riders.

What Your Support Makes Possible

Caring for a therapy horse is a year-round commitment. On average, it costs approximately $5,000 per year to provide the essentials each horse needs.

Your sponsorship helps cover:

  • Daily feed and hay

  • Veterinary care

  • Farrier services

  • Supplements and ongoing wellness needs

Your support allows our horses to continue doing what they do best—creating meaningful, life-changing connections with every rider they serve.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Adopting a lesson horse starts at $100 per month. You can choose the option that works best for you:

  • Monthly sponsorship, $100 per month

  • Six-month sponsorship, One-time gift of $550

  • Annual sponsorship, One-time gift of $1,000

Each option provides consistent, meaningful support for the horse you choose.

A Meaningful Sponsorship

While adoption does not include ownership, your contribution plays an essential role in the ongoing care and well-being of our horses. As a thank you, you will receive an adoption certificate. If your sponsorship is a gift, we are happy to recognize the recipient.
